I just gave up the perfect job for me... one I've had now the last year (or 40). The best job in the ecosystem, developer.
I'm joinging the marketing department at my place of business. It's small. My very first assignment - create a great monitization strategy. So I reached out for help, in my traditional way - books. I bought Software Profit Streams from a former employeer Jason Tanner & Luke Hohmann. Oh boy is it packed with advice, examples, problems, work sheets. It is a list of things that should have been DONE. Oh, I'm sure there will be time to do all that research... later.
I enjoy reading multiple view of a subject. So I've invested in Everything but the Code, by Paul Hudson. Perhaps a more solo-preneur view of making a profit on the Apple ecosystem. I'm already making a list of checked off and unfilled boxes of great advice from Paul.
