I just learned and started playing with the Xcode Behavior system. One could easily go overboard with this nice trick. In Menu -Xcode (the App menu) > Behaviors > Edit Behaviors - you get a nice large popup window of some 20 built-in behaviors.

One of the simplest and useful customizations would be to use the Speak announcement using... Alex. Alex is one of the better voices Apple provides.

There is so much here - I could quit coding and just play with the options for days...
